Changes...Good and Bad

As my two older boys head off to school this month I'm going to be spending a lot of precious one on one time with Ethan at home. For a few weeks I'm hoping to do a bunch fun things with him. Lots of storytimes at the library, parks (if the weather allows), aqua play at the local community club, ect. I want to pack in as much as I can before his surgery in October. I don't really know what life will be like after the surgery, at least for a few months. I'll probably be spending a lot of time at home while he rests and his body heals. I'm looking forward to lots of cuddles and naps in my arms. We are praying every day that when the time comes Charlie and I will be strong and trust God's plan for our littlest monkey. It breaks my heart that he has to go through this. Its going to be hard to see him in pain and not be able to help him. He won't understand whats going on and why. If you think of us please send up a prayer. We really appreciate all our family and friends joining with us in prayer for Ethan.

I'm really looking forward to slowing down and the quiet house where I'll be able to hear myself think. I have lots of books to read and I'm planning on making some blankets for local hospitals to give to babies and children. We have 2 special blankets we got when Ethan was born and when he was in the hospital for RSV. I want to be able to give back in some way. I'm way behind on photos and photo books so I'm looking forward to catching up on those too!

I'm even planning on getting my house clean enough to post some pictures on here! Woohoo! I haven't posted any since we moved in and it was full of boxes! Can't wait to show you how we've made this house our home. Charlie has been so inspired to be creative and has made some really fun projects around here. Its so awesome to see his creativity have a place to be displayed!

I love fall and the change of pace from the crazy frantic summer. Its nice to have routines again and of course all the fun holidays that are just around the bend. Ack! :)  Ok, we won't think about those just yet.....
