Winter blast 2013 came early and was fast and furious! The amount of snow was pretty small but it was COLD and icy out. The first day the kids school waited too long to cancel school for the day. It wasn't too much of a inconvenience to us but I know that a lot of other parents and teachers were thrown for a loop and weren't happy. The next week the school cancelled for 2 more days but the ice and "snow" melted by noon. I can't imagine being the person(s) in charge of making that important decision. I hope we don't have to make it up too much later in the year. After the snow days the kids went just another day or two and then Christmas break started! January 2nd can't get here fast enough! Kids are going a bit stir crazy :)
