I can't believe summer is halfway over. Brendan's already been out of school over a month and it is really flying by. This is good because I was really worried that it would be so slow and he would be driving me crazy but we've actually kept pretty busy (in a good way) and I'm actually enjoying having him around more. He is very high energy so he can easily wear me out but he is always more than happy to play outside in the backyard if mommy needs a break. I've also been making great use of some local church VBS day camps. Those few hours a day can really save my sanity and its so good for the boys to make new friends, spend time with old friends, and learn more about God.

Whew! And that was just 1 month. We still have the rest of July and August! We have camping with friends coming up, the fair, and Charlie decided to take all the Saturdays off in August so he will have 3 day weekends to plan a lot of fun stuff with the boys and I'm hoping a beach trip in there too. Life is great, the sunshine is out, and we are soaking up as much of it as we can this summer. We are so blessed! Hope you are all having a wonderful summer too!

Thank you! She is VERY happy and we are so happy for her! its been a long journey but God has been so faithful. We are excited for the new future ahead for her and our merging families :)
