This year we got our friends together for a fun bowling night to start his birthday weekend. We have a GREAT group of friends that we've gotten to know through a church small group we joined a few years ago. Its been so awesome to grow in our relationship with them and always have a great time when we are together. We are truly blessed!

The next day was Charlie's actual birthday (Saturday) and he took the day off. The kiddos spent the night at grandma and grandpa's house so Charlie and I enjoyed a relaxing morning before going to pick them up. Later in the evening we went down to the river to let the boys play in the water before heading home for birthday cake and presents!
