After a decent nights sleep we were excited to spend our first full day in Homer. First on the agenda was going down to the Spit. Sounds like a lovely place right? Well...its their version of a beachy/river area that comes and goes with the tide. We went down first thing in the morning to find cool rocks and shells. It was sunny but very windy! Good thing we had a few kites to fly too.
