Fair Day!

Ahhh...the fair. Big crowds, stinky animals, yummy treats! We enjoyed all of these and more this summer!

It is getting harder and harder each year as the boys get older and want to do more at the fair. When they were babies you could walk around for hours and they'd be content to just watch the crowds and animals. Now they want to buy everything they see and eat every treat they see! Then you have the rides section which we just stay away from all together. Not in this budget! Thankfully the boys were really understanding and didn't bug us (too much) to go on the rides. Maybe next summer we can have them earn their money to ride the rides :)

The boys learned this summer that you can still have plenty of fun enjoying the rest of the fair. And maybe a treat thrown in as well :)

mmm Cotton Candy!

Carter couldn't get enough of these! He cracks me up!

Ethan with all his free loot from the vendors!

The theme this year was Rock and Roll. The boys loved the exhibits with all the "old" music. They enjoyed rockin' out on the drums and guitars too.

The boys always look forward to making their own rope as a souvenir!

Baby Wallaby! Soooo adorable!

Brendan was fascinated by the real life blacksmith in action

Mommy and Daddy can't go to the fair and not indulge too just a bit. Love those fried treats! Charlie got a fried Snickers and I savored my fried peanut butter cups.....

Yep, summer is pretty awesome!
