Balance

Back in January I wrote a post about picking a word for the year. There were so many words I really liked and one of them was Balance. That is something I'm really trying to work on in my life, especially this summer. I wanted the boys to have a summer full of fun and freedom, knowing that school would soon start up and take a little of that freedom away. I'm usually really on top of the house thing and try to teach the boys to keep their stuff cleaned up. This summer though I've kind of let that all out the window. Yes, I try to keep up with the daily dishes and laundry (for the most part) but I'm really trying to just soak up as much summer as I can! Why would I want to spend the beautiful days inside cleaning and nagging the boys to put away their clothes and toys and such?? Seriously this summer has been the best weather in a long time. Its never too hot and not rainy at all! I'd much rather spend my time like this....

It has been a great summer!! I plan on posting a lot more of all the fun things we've done!
