Moving again!

So this is a little behind but we are so excited that we are in the process of buying our new house!! The housing market is so crazy right now, good houses don't stay on the market long before being snatched up. I think the real estate market is going back up and people are buying low while they can. We looked at several houses that we liked and put in our offers but easily got outbid. Right now if you can't offer asking price or more than its unlikely you'll get the house. We were getting pretty bummed at first but then this lovely home popped up and we knew right away this was the house for us!

Its a gorgeous 1920 Craftsman house all redone inside and kept up really well. Its about 2000 sq ft which is way bigger than we thought we could buy! It has a great basement where the kids rooms and playroom are located. The backyard is large and fenced in very nice. There isn't a ton of grass back there but there is a huge nice deck and some great planters. There is also a nice front yard too with a lot of shade.
The inside is gorgeous and spacious. Here are a few pictures we took during our showing.

Front room, great for a formal living area!

Dining Room (LOVE the hardwood!

Master Bedroom (upstairs and looks out into the dining room/living room)

HUGE GORGEOUS KITCHEN!! Love this!

A few doors to go outside, great area for a mudroom for kids!

Downstairs in the basement: Laundry room, bathroom, 2 bedrooms

Huge bonus room down there too! Playroom/entertainment room :)

Beautiful deck and backyard!

Upstairs main bathroom. Gorgeous tiling!

A nice big front porch! Can't wait to get a porch swing :)

Don't we look good? :) We are in love with this house!
Its a great location too! Small town, park in walking distance, elementary school right behind our house and a river close by to cool off in during the hot summer days. I know that we can be here for a long long time and we plan on it! If thats what God's plan is of course :)

So we had the inspection done last week and it went great! A few minor problems but nothing serious. All the important stuff like plumbing and electrical are all up to date. It will probably need a new roof in about 5 years. Next we are waiting for the appraisal. They are busy so it should be done by the end of the week we hope! Closing is in 2 weeks from today! Packing and praying all goes smooth and quickly!
