There is no better or harder job than being a mother. When we got pregnant with Brendan after only being married 4 months I was a little caught off guard with this new role. But I jumped in with my whole heart and its been the best thing ever. I am truly so blessed by each of my precious boys. They teach me so much and bring so much joy in my life. There are also a lot of hard days and nights but with my awesome Charlie by my side and God guiding us we are making it through.
Its so fun to have a day to celebrate moms! I saw this the other day and just laughed.
This year Charlie did pretty awesome :) Guys are so funny...they think we are so complicated but we really aren't! I think he is finally realizing this :) It also helps the the kids are in school and usually make a cute Mother's Day gift there too. Takes some of the pressure of Charlie :)

This year we went to church with my mom and Randy. Randy's son Keegan was getting baptized and we wanted to be there and support him. After church we headed over to mom and Randy's for a yummy BBQ lunch
After lunch my mom offered to watch the boys so Charlie andI could have a little date. We got our favorite coffee (Dutch Cocoa Blueberry Mochas...to DIE for) and walked around the World Market getting inspired and ideas for the style of our new home. We had a great time!
After we got home with the kiddos and got them dinner and in bed I got to take a lovely bubble bath with my new candle. A perfect end to a perfect day!
