Hello! Well, we did it. We moved out of our house and into our new apartment. It was pretty emotional for me to say goodbye to the only home my kids have known. We spent the last night there Friday the 29th. We let the boys sleep out on their mattress in the TV room and enjoyed a late night movie. The next morning a bunch of Charlie's friends came and helped moved the rest of our stuff. SO thankful for their help! We spent our first night that Saturday night and woke up Easter morning in our new place. The next couple days we were busy unpacking and putting stuff in the storage that we didn't need this summer. Things went pretty quickly and its nice to be all done with the unpacking part.
Because this house was where our family began and grew we wanted to take a few pictures out front before we said good bye for the last time. Kinda cheesy but I know we will be happy we did!
Our apartment is very very nice as apartments go. The tenant before us decided to do some custom painting (unauthorized of course) and thankfully she did a great job so they just left it. Its so nice to not have a bunch of boring white walls! Thankfully we are in a 3 bedroom and it turns out to be just a bit smaller than our house so we don't really feel cramped for space. I'm also enjoying a master bathroom :)
Being on the top floor has had its benefits and challenges. It sure is nice to not have anyone above us but on the other hand it is extremely difficult to keep all 3 boys from running and jumping all the time. We try our best to be mindful of the family below us but so far they've already complained. Its going to be a looooong summer! We sure do enjoy our AC though! And the pool will be open in a few weeks too.
