Its easy to forget that he is growing up since he is still so so tiny! He has his 2 year check up next week so I don't know exact measurements but I'm pretty sure he is about 23 lbs and about 30 in tall. Yes, thats the size of an average 12 month old. He is barely into 18 month clothes and depending on the brand sometimes they are too big on him. A lot of people are so surprised to hear that he is 2 and they hear him talk and interact as a toddler. We are so used to it by now, Brendan and Carter have also been on the smaller side.
Ethan's vocab has skyrocketed! He started out so sweet and quiet...and now he has learned very quickly from his brothers the art of being a noisy boy. He loves to copy everything they say and is very communicative. Its so precious to hear his little voice! Here is a video I took yesterday during playtime. I need to remember to take more videos!
His birthday fell on a Wednesday this year so we celebrated with his Mustache Party the weekend before. So much fun! On his real birthday the boys sang him Happy Birthday over breakfast. We celebrated by taking him to Fred Meyer and he got to play in the play area for the first time. So exciting! Especially for mommy :)

After dinner that night he enjoyed a birthday cupcake and some presents. He wasn't sure what to do with the presents (his brothers were more than happy to help) but he sure liked his cupcake!

Happy Birthday dearest Ethan. Our family wouldn't be the same without your quirky personality and love for life. We love you more than we can say! Can't wait to see what the next year brings! Never a dull moment with you thats for sure.
