This summer we got to enjoy a wonderful visit from my grandparents. They came up to help us celebrate my mom's new marriage and it was just lovely to spend time with them. They are a joy to have around and even though our visits are few and far between we cherish them with all our hearts.
Recently my grandfather was diagnosed with bladder cancer. He has gone through some treatments and the doctors are working on healing him. He is a strong, godly man and is always so upbeat and positive about life. I just talked to them on the phone the other day and it was so fun to hear him and my grandma tease each other and you can just hear the love they have for each other. I wish I was closer to them and could spend more time with them. Love them so much!!
