If you've read my blog for awhile you've probably noticed that we really love going to the zoo. We've had a membership every year (except last year!what?!) and definitely enjoy it as much as we can. We've had to cut back a bit on our visits because of the distance and gas but that makes our visits even more special and enjoyable. My favorite time to go is in the fall. The coolness in the air lets the animals relax a little bit more and come out of their hiding spots and its less busy since a lot of the older kids are in school. The colors are GORGEOUS and theres no better time to be outside enjoying it all.
Last week we planned a fun trip with my mom, my brother, and sister and niece. We had a great time! The weather was perfect, a lot of the animals were out, and the kids had a lot of fun. My mom's only memory of the zoo is going during
Zoolights and for some reason she is not really a big fan of freezing her face off at the zoo. Who knew? So she was pleasantly surprised how enjoyable it was!

Ethan rarely lets anyone but mommy and daddy hold him so when Grandma gets a chance she cherishes the rare moment.
