Ahoy Mateys!
Did you dress or talk like a pirate today? Today was Talk like a Pirate Day! In honor of this most important holiday (ha!) Krispy Kreme Doughnuts was giving out one free glazed donut to anyone who came in and talked like a pirate. To get the bonus prize (1 dozen donuts) you could dress up like a pirate as well. I mentioned this to the boys before dinner thinking they would just like to go in and say a few "piratey" words for their donut but nooooo...I underestimated their enthusiasm. Brendan in particular was ready to go all out and dress up from head to toe! We put together some rather convincing outfits from their dress up box and headed out to find our treasure!
