Okay, so I know all you moms out there will totally love my new discovery. You might have even already discovered it but if not listen up!
One of my many "jobs" around here is to gather recipes, menu plan, and do the grocery shopping. I do enjoy it for the most part but I'm always looking for something to make it a little bit easier and maybe even a little fun right? Well, I just stumbled on a great website and app that you need to look into. Its called PepperPlate
Its everything you want and more! Recipe storing, menu planning, grocery list making....the only thing it doesn't do is go out and do the grocery shopping for you. It even has a little button you can put in your bookmarks and when you're out browsing the web and stumble across a recipe you want to try you can "pin" it (like Pinterest) and copy and paste the ingredients and directions and it saves it in your recipe box! It is supported by all the major recipe/food websites for an even easier way to gather recipes.
There are many many other great features such as sharing recipes through FB or Twitter. I've just begun to learn how to use it and I just like it so much already I had to share my finding! The only downside I would say is that you can't put recipes in your account from your other devices even though you have the app. You can only add/edit recipes on your desktop computer. But other than that it is great!
Now if you'll excuse me I have a huge stack of recipes to sort through.....
