I'm not usually the gal who decorates for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving. I like to enjoy each holiday to the fullest before moving on to the next. Especially Thanksgiving. I think too many people just hurry through it and rush into the craziness of Christmas. This year was a little different. Brendan was really anxious to get to decorating and we had a rainy low key weekend so it made sense to stay in, put on the Christmas music, and "deck the halls". For me decorating usually takes at least a week before I'm satisfied with where things are. We don't have our Christmas tree so there is a lot of stuff I can't get out just yet but things are looking festive and I'm loving it. Last year was a hard Christmas and I couldn't wait to pack away the decorations but I'm so glad to be making new Christmas memories this year!
