The Hunt

Every year we embark on the fun adventure of finding the perfect Christmas tree. No fake trees in our house! Living in the NW we need to take full advantage of all that nature has to offer us. We've tried a few different tree farms the past few years but one we keep coming back to. This year the weather has been overly wet (as I mentioned before) so finding a day when Charlie was home and no rain has been difficult. Finally one came up and we jumped on the chance. The tree farm was pretty empty due to it being a Monday in the middle of the day. In some ways that was great, not having to deal with crowds but we were also bummed that the hay ride was not running :( Oh well, there is always next year!
