New Year

Hello! Its good to be back in the blogging world. I am very excited to have found the site that keeps our blog more private. I've missed blogging, mostly because I like posting pictures and posting a little about the things that happen in our lives. I know its probably not that exciting to most of you but thats fine. Its also the easiest way for me to journal so we can look back on our crazy life.

February is full of a few exciting things. I am taking a class to be an Activity Director/Assistant Activity Director at nursing facilities. According to some sources I may be able to get a job at a facility in May but right now not sure if I will pursue that. It would depend on how/when they needed me to work and if the $$ made it worth the time. If I could work out where I work mostly when Charlie's home so I don't have to pay for a babysitter then we might consider it. I would love to have a chance to earn some extra money to put away or use on continued renovation of the house. If we can boost our houses value or pay down on the mortgage we will be closer to our dream of moving to Camas so our boys can go to school in a better area. Its exciting to see that there are some things out there that I can do with out too much time spent in college. Even if I decide not to pursue the job in May, I want to have this opportunity so that when the boys are in school I can get a job and help out financially.

We're barreling toward March at break neck speed. Crazy to think about Brendan being 4 and Carter being 2, but more crazy about Brendan. Carter is still sorta our baby but Brendan is becoming more and more of a little boy every day. It doesn't help that his verbal and mental skills are above what we've seen as typical of his age. It astounds us every day the things he thinks of, questions he asks, and feelings he expresses. We haven't nailed down dates or plans for their birthdays but we will let you all know when we know.

We are constantly thankful for Charlie's job during this hard time that so many people are going through. He is so busy and even though sometimes its hard and we miss him we know its a blessing.

We love you all dear family and friends and thanks for joining in this journey!
