Last Days of School

The boys both had such a fun year in school! It was hard to say goodbye knowing that we wouldn't be back in the fall. Brendan handled it very well and luckily is young enough to not be too attached. Most of his close friends are from church so he wasn't losing that much. Carter loved his preschool and I really think it helped a lot in getting him ready for Kindergarten.

On one of the last days of school we got to spend most of the day seeing all the different parts of Brendan's day as a 1st Grader. It was a lot of fun and we had a great time. They fed us pizza and the music class sang songs for us.

Brendan gave a report about Giant Bees. Not sure all his info is 100% accurate but he had no fear up there! Smooth and cool :) 

Carters last day of preschool was a lot of fun. We had a potluck and it was great to just hang out with the kids and the moms. They were sad that Carter wouldn't be joining his buddies in Kindergarten. Lots of good memories though!

Brendan's last day: Brendan had a total of 3 teachers this year! His first teacher was pregnant with twins and had to go on bedrest during Christmas vacation (ended up having the babies in January but she wasn't due til March and they are doing great) His class had one substitute teacher for a few months and then she had a family emergency and so they got another substitute! Kinda crazy year! But it was really good and we liked all 3 of them :)

We took the boys out to a special dinner on the last day of school. We bought them new books and tickets to go see Monsters University that weekend. They were so excited!! we got a visit to our table from the balloon man who made some cool ninjas and a Buzz for Ethan.
