Easter

I just realized I didn't post about Easter. There isn't much to post about. I have to be honest and say that it was a very rough day health wise. Its always a bummer when your body just doesn't let you enjoy life to the fullest, especially on such an important day in our faith and with our family. Thankfully our kids are resilient and seemed to get the meaning of the day and had fun too even though mommy wasn't really able to enjoy it with them. I'm blessed to have an AMAZING hubby who picks up the slack and we spent the afternoon with my mom and her fiance, and my brother. They also were a big help in keeping the day fun and special. So thankful for them all! Charlie got some cute pictures (always important to me) and in the end it was a great day.

My handsome little men before heading off to church

We enjoyed a great Easter Sunday service reflecting on the miracle of Christ's sacrifice for us. A very moving worship service and a special message from our pastor. Its so important to remember what a true sacrifice He made for us.

After lunch we took a walk down to the park. The church campus we go to has a big park just a few blocks away where they have a Farmer's market every weekend in the spring/summer. We grabbed some lunch at Subway and enjoyed the sunshine. We didn't stay too long because mommy's allergies were getting worse and Ethan was getting fussy and needed a good nap!

My brother and I

After a good nap for Ethan we headed over to my mom's fiance's house for Easter lunch/dinner and an egg hunt. Delicious food was eaten and fun was had searching for eggs and playing a neighborhood park nearby. Unfortunately I missed out on all the outdoor fun trying to keep my allergy symptoms at minimum. Thanks for an awesome future step dad, brother, and hubby for having fun with the kids! In the end it was a wonderfully relaxed day with the family and even though I didn't get to enjoy the sun I was glad it was there for everyone else!
