March Photo Challenge Week 1

I've had a hard time sticking with this months challenge for some reason. For one, its the busiest month of the year for us and I also think the topics aren't fitting into my daily life/routine as February's. I've found I've had to stretch the topics a little more and think outside the box.  I'm trying though! I do enjoy the creative challenge so I don't want to stop just yet.

Day 1: Up. We woke up to snow! Not the first time we've had snow in March (very rare though) I remember it snowed on the way to the hospital to give birth to Carter  and that was the end of March.

Day 2: Fruit  This cutie LOVES fruit. Haven't found a fruit he won't eat. Which is great considering the only fruit Brendan will eat willingly is apples, Golden Delicious to be exact. Only problem is that Ethan won't touch vegetables. Seriously?? Carter is our most balanced eater. Eats a fair amount from both fruits and veggies.

Day 3: Your Neighborhood. After our snow storm we had some really gorgeous sunny days! Got into the high 60s the rest of the week.

Day 4 Bedside. A shot of my side of the bed (the only side with a "side)

Day 5: A Smile Today Brendan lost his first tooth! ( With a little help from Uncle Jed)

Day 6: 5 pm  Dinner time! Cooking some chicken and rice

Day 7: Something you wore. To take advantage of the nice weather we attempted some family pictures. This is the only one that turned out decently. Sigh

  1. Very cute family picture. No one is crying and everyone is looking in the same direction. That's success in my book!!

  2. Thanks Lisa! it is a good shot. Just a frustrating attempt but thats been the normal lately. Do you have any tips for getting good pictures? Seems no matter what we say or bribe with one of the boys (usually Carter) gets an attitude after the first picture and its all downhill from there. I wonder if hiring someone else to do the pictures would help. We've always had good success at the studios. I just hate to spend the money when we have the talent and equipment on our own.
