In the early years of dual birthdays for my kiddos it was easy to just throw one big party for all our friends and family. I think unfortunately those "easy" years are past us. Brendan has made a lot of friends at school separate from Carter and the more I talk to him I get the feeling he wants a really structured birthday party. With just a few friends and some fun crafts/games suited for the more "mature" kids. Which is really great. I am looking forward to a little less crazy. So we're trying to figure out how this is going to work. We haven't totally figured things out yet but we better get on it!
On top of the 2 parties we'll be throwing this month we have a few other fun things planned. I have a MOMS retreat coming up this weekend and then the following weekend is our church's annual couples retreat. Our weekends are filling up quickly! Its a good thing Spring Break is the first week in April. I think I'll probably collapse from exhaustion by the time we get through the month.
