Attempting some Fall Family Photos

Even though we have Charlie, an AMAZING photographer, in the family we've had a hard time getting some consistent family shots lately. Ever since Brendan was born we've scheduled regular appointments with a local studio to get updated family and kid pictures. Now that we have the talent and equipment to take MUCH better pictures than the studio you'd think we'd have TONS of family pictures. Its a lot harder than it looks. We have no problem getting some cute kid pictures but its getting harder to get a good picture with everyone in it. Last week we made an attempt....and in the moment it was the most frustrating thing ever. Now that I look back the pictures aren't too bad. Its just hard to get the kids to look at the camera when Charlie isn't there! Especially Ethan. Poor guy was so confused! I think next time we'll take a decoy to help.
