For Mother's Day all I wanted was time with my boys planting a small garden. So the week before the big day we headed over to Lowes and got all the supplies we needed. We decided to start easy with some strawberry plants and carrots. I am not a gardener by any means. My mom made me pick weeds and water the garden growing up and I hated it. I don't know if that contributed to my lack of skills with dirt and plants but nevertheless....I want to have some sort of garden to enjoy with the kids. So I'm going to give a chance!
We had a lot of fun preparing the dirt and planting our treasures. Hope we can actually get them to produce something and stay alive!

Its a good thing we celebrated a week early! On the actual Mother's Day weekend all 3 kids were sick so that wasn't much fun. Oh well! Doesn't matter what day you celebrate. I feel loved and cherished every day of the year!
