Sand in the City

You don't need to go to the beach to see some great sand sculptures here in the NW. Every summer Portland has Sand in the City. We've never gone or really heard much about it but I saw something on the news this year and decided to take the boys. James joined us for our little adventure. First we had to take the MAX to downtown to enjoy the event. I didn't have my camera but got a few good pictures with my cell phone.

First the boys got down and dirty in a big sand pit.
