Charlie's Birthday

This year we had quite the party for Charlie's birthday. His parents are now living here in Vancouver and hope to sell their house up in Alaska soon so they can find a place of their own. They were happy to make it down here in time to celebrate with us. Also, my grandma made it here from California for a vacation.  Charlie wanted to go to Red Robin for his birthday, one of his favorite (kid-friendly) restaurants. He and I made an agreement back when we were first dating that we wouldn't embarrass each other on our birthdays if we were out at a restaurant...well the rest of the party goers didn't share that same agreement and insisted on telling the waitress that Charlie was celebrating his birthday. Poor guy, he got quite the treatment. I hope that he doesn't try to get me back on my birthday! It wasn't my fault!!!!!

After dinner we went back to our house for yummy ice cream pie and presents.
