4th of July

Most years we don't have plans for the 4th and its always a bummer to just hang around the house. This year we took the initiative and invited some friends from our Bible study over for a BBQ. We had a great time! The weather was iffy but it was still fun. Our friends brought lots of firecrackers for us to enjoy out in front of the house and all the kids really enjoyed it! Carter wasn't a fan of the big loud firecrackers though. He was awfully snuggly so thats okay with me :)

p.s. these pics taken with our point and shoot, Charlie had to send in his DSLR for some repairs so we didn't have it for the 4th. Sorry about the quality :(
