Charlie and I are so lucky to be a part of a great marriage/parenting group at our church. They recently have switched from meeting Sat evenings to splitting up in small groups different nights of the week. We couldn't attend the Sat meetings because of Charlie's work schedule so we were SO excited when they started the small groups. We joined a group that meets Friday nights and are really enjoying getting to know other parents with small children.
Recently we got to attend a fun, relaxing getaway with our group and the other small groups. We spend 2 days and one night at a beautiful lodge on the Columbia Gorge. They had two great speakers and lots of relaxing time to spend either alone or with other couples. It was wonderful to get away with Charlie and enjoy some time away from the kiddos.
