MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I'm going to do the all-important Christmas post in 2 parts :) we have a ton of great pictures! Charlie's parents were in town this year for Christmas but my mom was out of town so we had a small Christmas. It was strange not having Christmas with my mom, first time in my whole life, but we survived. Haha

Its very important to Charlie and I to have Christmas morning just to ourselves. The boys got up their normal time. Luckily they are still to young to realize they can get up earlier and get to the presents early. Its funny, growing up my brothers and I never ever got up early for Christmas. My parents always were up, showered, enjoying a quiet house and coffee before we rolled out of bed. Sometimes they had to come in and actually get us out of bed. Guess we figured presents would be there whether we got up early or not. I have a feeling I'm not so lucky with Brendan and Carter. They are both morning kids so I'm sure in a few years we'll have to get up at 5 am to open presents. I'm not looking forward to that at all so I am enjoying the sleep I get now.

We didn't put presents out until Christmas Eve when the boys were in bed. Mostly because I don't trust the boys to stay out of the presents :) They were really excited to see the loot in the morning and it was so much fun to see them open presents.

Goodmorning!
