Pickin' Pumpkins

When I as up in Alaska I was so bummed to be missing out on one of my most favorite thing to do in the fall...PUMPKIN PATCHES! I just love them. I don't know why but I do. I look forward to every year. So when I was gone I was so worried we wouldn't get to one! They don't have pumpkin patches where I was, maybe earlier in the year but by the time October rolls around its WAY too cold for pumpkins. I was so happy that the day after we got home it was a sunny day and Charlie stayed home (didn't feel well....glad he stayed home but wish he felt better) so it was the perfect day to go! Unfortunately most of the big, fancy pumpkin patches are closed during the week but we found a free one that was open every day all day. It wasn't as fun as other ones we've done in the past but it was better than not going at all. Because our car was in the shop we had to call some of Charlie's buddies for a ride. They were happy to go with us and we all had a great time!!

Look at all the pumpkins mom!
