I just have to say how much I love having an eager eater in this house. After all that we went through with Brendan we deserve it! LOL But seriously, Carter LOVES to eat. He is the happiest when he is in his high chair or munching off someone's plate. So far nothing I've given him has been turned down. He even eats dill pickles! And yesterday I cut up some grape tomatoes for him from my salad and he couldn't get enough of them. It is just awesome!! Of course, the downside might be when I can't keep food in the house to satisfy him but we'll deal with that in the future. Right now he gets such a good variety of fruits, veggies, meat, dairy, grains...its so wonderful. I'm hoping someday his good habits will influence Brendan to be more adventurous. We'll see.
It amazes me everyday how different two kids can be. You have to throw all expectations out the window. I love it though...keeps life interesting and you never get too comfortable with the day-to-day stuff. I'm learning every minute of every day.
