Well, its been a week since I've posted and boy has this week been busy!! All summer I was hanging around the house, wishing I had places to go, people to see...and now I am hardly home at all. I went from one extreme to the other.
I joined a new MOMS group and am really excited about it! I mean, who wouldn't love a group where you win a new package of wedgie-free underwear right?? LOL...yes I won underwear!! And then to make it even better the next week EVERYONE wanted to know how they worked and if I was wearing them that day! Hmmmm...maybe I should find a new group.....or maybe try a wig and sunglasses next week. Other than the underwear, I really do like the group and am looking forward to getting to know some other moms.
I'm working a little bit more and trading babysitting with a friend of mine. Its a lot of fun to watch my friend's little girl and I'm also happy to work a little more. We definitely need the extra $$ these days...doesn't everybody? So now I work a whopping 8 hours a week!
So, my week is pretty full right now but I think I like it. I don't like spending a lot of time at home and I know that Brendan really enjoys getting out and burning off his energy. He really likes the kids program at the MOMS group and he loves going to my friends house when its her turn to babysit. I'm working on balancing keeping the house from falling apart while I'm out and about.
So thats the update in my life. :)
