Pardon the dust.....

The never ending project called our house continues.....

Charlie has taken on the task of cleaning up the backyard before the weather gets bad. We certainly don't want to go through another winter with all the junk out there. We've had a pile of junk, yard debris, etc. out there since we moved in. Most of it is from the previous owners and the rest is from various demolition projects we've done. We borrowed a great trailer from our friends and in 2 trips to the recycling and dump we can finally see our yard and fence!!! yay!! Charlie plans on putting up a swing of some sort between the two trees. So....look for updates soon!!


AWWWWW.... isn't Charlie sweet???

My sister was cleaning out her storage/garage and asked if we wanted her big oversized chair she was not using. Since moving our sectional out of the front room it was pretty empty and awkward. Now we have a small seating area. I'm probably going to be on the lookout for another little chair so at least 2 people can sit and chat or read or whatever....for now this is what we have. I'm also getting a slipcover for the chair soon. Probably in a coffee brown color

Soon hopefully Charlie will finish the trim and I'll be planning on getting some nice window treatments. Slowly but surely this house will be a cozy little home.
