Adventures in Potty Training....

Today we decided to make a trial run at potty training. We got a book for Brendan with a chart and stickers for motivation. The reason I say its a trial run is because I'm really not convinced he is ready for it. He doesn't show much interest and I know that that is a sign of unreadiness. We're not going to push or pressure him...just planting the seed of how FUN this is...right.....today he got to run around in his underwear for a couple hours. We showed him the chart and told him if he peed or pooped in the potty he would get a sticker. Of course he thought that just sitting on the potty was enough for a sticker....working on that :) We gave him lots of juice with hopes that he would pee...but he didn't. We had to put him in a diaper because he wanted to go to our neighbors before dinner. Tomorrow I will be home all day babysitting so I plan on keeping him in his underwear as long as he will let me :) I'm sure we'll get some action tomorrow! Can't wait..ha ha
