This weekend we took advantage of Charlie's extra day off to have some couple time with some good friends of ours. I've been friends with Jenny since high school and we reconnected about 2 years ago. She is married to Ryan who works with Charlie. Ryan's weekend is completely opposite of Charlie's so we never get to hang out with them during the day. This was a great opportunity to enjoy each other's company in the great outdoors. The weather was perfect! We left the kids with Grandmas and headed out to Beacon Rock for a nice hike and picnic lunch. We had a great time! The guys had fun finding their own way up the rock and Jenny and I had fun chatting and taking our time up the trails. After the invigorating hike up we walked back down and had lunch. Then we headed back for the kids and spent the rest of the evening/night hanging out, eating dinner, and playing games. It is so nice to have such wonderful friends to spend time with! Great memories and laughs for years to come!
